Art MidWisconsin is an initiative of the MidWisconsin Visual Artist Connection, a group of artists who live in communities between the three large metropolitan areas of Wisconsin: Milwaukee, Madisin, and Green Bay. The Connection was established in November of 2022 and has approximately 25 members. The Connection supports artists by organizing group exhibitions and sales of artwork, coordinating workshops and professional development opportunities, and fostering networking and community. Art on the Island
Members participated in the Fond du Lac Artist's Association annual Art on the Island event on June 2, 2024. The Art MidWisconsin group was awarded Best in Show, and photographer Kathleen Sletten was awarded First Place in Photography.

Art Journaling Class
A class entitled Art Journaling for the Mind, Body, and Spirit was held at the Town Square Community Center in Green Lake on April 20, 2024. The three-hour workshop, hosted by members Laura Pahlas and Carissa Sorensen, explored process-based art journaling.

Exhibition at Thrasher Opera House in Green Lake
Members were invited to exhibit and sell artwork at the Thrasher Opera House, Green Lake, Wisconsin in January 2024

Dick Folse Pop-Up Gallery
Members participated in a four-month exhibition in downtown Ripon, Wisconsin at the Dick Folse Pop-Up Gallery. The exhibition had 1500 visitors and welcomed visits from area high school and college student groups.

Members participated in the 50th Annual Green Lake Fine Art Show in Green Lake, Wisconsin on August 12 - 13, 2023. The Connection was awarded Best in Show!
